2. TRADEMARK DISPUTES
2.1 Domain Name vs. Trademark
A domain name is not a trademark, and registering a domain does not grant trademark rights. Disputes between a trademark owner and a domain registrant are typically handled through ICANN-mandated policies.
2.2 UDRP and URS
We follow the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) and the Uniform Rapid Suspension System (URS) for trademark-related domain disputes.

2.3 How to Submit a Trademark Claim
If you believe a domain infringes your trademark, you should first attempt to contact the registrant directly. If that fails, you may initiate a UDRP or URS proceeding through an approved provider.

3. COPYRIGHT DISPUTES (DMCA)
Domanenname is a domain registrar, not a hosting provider. We do not host website content (HTML, images, etc.).
3.1 Where to File a DMCA Notice
If you believe a website is hosting copyright-infringing content, you must file a DMCA notice with the web hosting provider, not the registrar.
How to find the host: Use a tool like whois or dig to find the nameservers or IP address, then look up the owner of that IP.
3.2 Our Role in Copyright Claims
We will only take action on copyright claims (such as suspending a domain) if we receive a valid court order from a UK court directing us to do so.
